Romsey District Scouts and 1st Romsey Scout Group have joined forces to build a new Community Centre on the site of 1st Romsey's Scout Headquarters in Baden Powell Way, behind Romsey Fire Station.

Why?
1. Because 1st Romsey Scout Group headquarters is in desperate need of renovation.
2. Because Romsey District needs a "home".
3. Because we want to do something in memory of Dr Peter Johnson that will benefit the community he dedicated so much of his life to.

Our aim is to build a new facility that will incorporate a large hall and meeting rooms that both the Scouts and other members of our community will be able to use.
